One platform for the entire golf course

Lemon Golf is an all-in-one course management platform that replaces the patchwork of disconnected tools golf operators have been forced to live with. Tee sheets, online booking, payments, F&B, pro shop, maintenance, and staff ops—unified in a single system built for how courses actually run.

The Problem

Golf is a $100B industry running on duct tape

Most golf courses operate on a stack of 3–5 disconnected systems. One for tee times, another for point of sale, a third for member management, maybe a spreadsheet for maintenance. None of them talk to each other.

The result: duplicate data entry, lost revenue from online-only bookings, staff buried in admin instead of serving customers, and zero visibility into what's actually happening across the operation.

The golf industry sits at roughly 25% technology adoption—compared to 70% in the broader hospitality sector. That gap isn't just inefficiency. It's a $1.6B opportunity.

The Solution

Everything a course needs. Nothing it doesn't

01

Modern Tee Sheet

A visual, drag-and-drop tee sheet with color-coded booking status, multi-course views, dynamic pricing, and real-time weather integration. Built for the pro shop counter and the back office.

02

Online Booking

24/7 self-service booking for golfers. Embeddable widget, integrated payments, automated AI-powered confirmation calls, and a golfer database that eliminates repeat data entry.

03

Dynamic Pricing Engine

Seasonal rates, time-of-day premiums, capacity-based adjustments, and day-of-week rules. Revenue optimization that runs in the background so the team doesn’t have to.

04

Restaurant & F&B

Visual floor plans, table management, kitchen display integration, waitlist SMS notifications, bill splitting, server rotation, and cover tracking—connected directly to the rest of the operation.

05

Pro Shop & POS

Product catalog with variant management, real-time inventory, vendor tracking, promo codes, and transaction history. Not a generic retail POS—built around how pro shops actually work.

06

Course Maintenance

Task management, work orders, condition reporting, chemical application logs, equipment tracking, and photo documentation. Keeps the superintendent and the GM on the same page.

07

Staff Operations

Messaging, scheduling, time tracking, shift swaps, payroll access, and role-based permissions. An entire workforce layer built into the platform—not bolted on.

08

Analytics & Reporting

RevPAR, occupancy rates, peak hour analysis, revenue breakdowns, member churn prediction, and retention scoring. Real data, not guesswork.

Why We Built This

Skin in the game

Lemon Golf is an OTB internal venture. We didn't build this for a client—we built it because the opportunity was too clear to ignore.

Golf course operators are underserved by technology. The tools that exist are either legacy systems with dated interfaces, generic hospitality software forced into a golf-shaped hole, or fragmented point solutions that create more problems than they solve.

We saw a market where 75% of operators are still managing critical revenue workflows manually. We applied our standard process—research, design, build, ship—and created the platform we'd want to use if we ran a course.

Lemon Golf is Canadian-grown, purpose-built for seasonal and year-round operations, and designed with input from operators who've lived with the pain of disconnected systems.

The Tech

Modern stack. Clean architecture

Lemon Golf is built on Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Drizzle ORM. The platform runs on a monorepo architecture with a shared database layer, deployed on Vercel with Supabase handling auth, storage, and real-time features.

Payments run through Helcim. Automated booking confirmations use Bland.AI. Transactional email is powered by Resend. The course directory uses MapLibre GL for interactive mapping.

Everything is type-safe end-to-end. The database schema propagates to the frontend. Multi-tenant isolation is enforced at every layer. It's built to scale from a single 9-hole course to a management group running dozens of properties.
